All of your collective years of experiences, set backs, triumphs, challenges and growth have led to who you are today. You will change. Change is inevitable. So let's be sure to preserve the YOU in this moment. Senior year culminates to a time of massive transition for you. And you're kinda a big deal right now. Because I am taking fewer sessions this year, I can REALLY cater to meeting your needs & wants with your session and there's some flexibility with your date selection should a change be needed. I have built in a pre-consultation meeting that will help me learn more about you. What brings you joy, challenge, excitement and stirs some nostalgia? I am SO excited for the shift into print products. You will LOVE them! I have only ever done high-resolution digitals (and still do), but there really is something magical about holding a beautifully printed portrait on high-quality long-lasting paper. If you've never printed using a professional printing lab, you have no idea what you have been missing. These are GORGEOUS, true-to-edit color and you won't be able to resist the urge to reach out and touch it. They are THAT awesome. You can put them on the wall, in an album, in a frame, on a grad party board, or just keep them bundled together for safe-keeping in the gorgeous photo box they come in. What is it about the prints that make them so special? It's honestly the deep matte that brings true colors and a 'soft' feel of the highest quality. Blah, blah, blah...you may be thinking 'who cares about prints?? All I really want is to be able to share the digitals'. You STILL can! But to be honest, I have taken well over 200 portraits of my daughter (a senior) so far. But I struggled deciding with what product to purchase for her. In limbo while I dove into the product research, they collected digital dust in the bowels of an external drive. YES - even ME, a photographer, struggled with which product to choose. The timeless portrait box in beautiful black wood won me over. Combined with the deep matte prints, it's the perfect match to treasure for generations. It has all of her (and my) favorites inside it and because of its size (4x6), it fits beautifully on a coffee table, on a shelf or on display. Prints offer versatility that doesn't come with an album or digital form. Because they are loose images, I can put them into frames (even matted) to display and periodically change out. I can press them onto graduation party boards and then replace them back into the beautiful protective box when the party ends. If I want to put them into an album, I can! With me you get options. I am a natural-light photographer and LOVE to make use of the outdoors for my scenery. I know light and how it plays out on my clients. There are local parks and hidden treasure locations I can talk with you about to create your favorite line-up of backdrops. I also have access to a gorgeous studio space with lots of rustic character. If you have your own ideas for venue, I am always ready to play with new places! Have some unique ideas like swimming in a pool? I have an underwater camera that could be a lot of fun! Want to capture the moody stage light scene or locker room drama? Let's do it! Do you love coffee shops or reading in the library? Want to shoot on the football field, basketball court, or dance studio? Or we can do the beach, downtown urban, woods, or creek. Communicate all of your interests to me and let's CREATE together!
