Did you know I love other forms of photography too?

While Seniors and Business Professionals are my main line of focus, I do so enjoy participating in photography challenges such as the Dogwood 52-week Challenge, 52Frames, and 365 Photo Challenge.  For years I have enjoyed the challenge of diving into themed weeks/days and pushing myself to learn more about the art, the equipment and the editing.  This gallery houses some of my all-time faves from these challenges.

Of course it is an honor for you to look, but if you see something you love (for yourself or a gift), prints come in the same matte-finish on high-quality and lasting paper that my portrait business uses.  The national-printing company I use for my portrait prints has a great reputation for quality and service and is who I chose for these art prints.  You can order and securely pay right inside the gallery and they are mailed directly to you in excellent packaging (clear plastic envelope housed in sturdy box packaging).  Deliveries are typically within the week of placing the order.  Canvases and metal art take longer.

I am a huge fan of texture and color tones.  So what I shoot for nature and abstract, comes from me being inspired by what I see around me.  I won't pass up an opportunity to get close, pulling in the small world of flowers, pebbles, bubbles, etc. I also lean toward those compositions that bring me peace.  When the mood hits, I just grab my camera and see what I can find.  Almost all of the images available in this gallery are from my hometown area of Schoolcraft (many from my own yard).  I did get a couple of travel opportunities, however, and included the 3-rock sample (above) from my trip to Maine and a Silver Lake (upper Michigan) sand dune landscape (last image below).  The grouping in this gallery is a bit eclectic.
